Sant Vicenç de Calders is a small village in the municipality of El Vendrell (Baix Penedès). The town was an independent municipality until 1946 when it was annexed to the municipality of El Vendrell. It has just over a hundred inhabitants.
The town is situated around an incline of 100 meters, with a core of houses dating from the XVIII century. Its location allows splendid views of the interior of the region and its maritime district of Coma-ruga, Sant Salvador and El Francàs, beaches of the Costa Daurada.

In the Plaça Major of Sant Vicenç de Calders is the Mas Borràs Free Press. A poster indicates how this press was built at the beginning of the 19th century and still works today.
THE BEACH
About 2 km away are the beaches of Coma-ruga, El Francàs and Sant Salvador, beaches on the Costa Daurada ideal for family tourism given the shallow depth of its waters, which also stand out for their richness in iodine. In the Coma-ruga area there is the area of thermal and healing waters of the Estany and the Riuet de Coma-ruga.

In front is the Pau Casals Auditorium where various concerts are held throughout the year, and in the summer the Pau Casals International Music Festival is held.

You can follow a route where you will discover many elements of this intangible cultural heritage of humanity: barracks, margins, cisterns... The Dry Stone Group of Sant Vicenç de Calders has recovered and maintains many of these constructions that you can observe and admire.
